Edu-tainment Through Merchandising!

Educational programming and special events enhance the visitor's immersion into the traditions and cultures on view in the museum or historic site. "Edu-tainment" makes learning fun! Shopping makes us happy!

Visitors see, hear, feel, understand, and experience history "through the eyes of Marines" in the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

For Jubileum2000, local craftsmen constructed a retail shop in a former two car garage on the grounds of the Benedictine "home house" at the top of the Aventine Hill.

Following my designs to showcase the product mix from Benedictine abbeys around the world, the shop's gleaming woodwork, glass cases and brass details combine with hidden storage to maximize efficiency and security.
